Guide · Getting started

Your first 30 days running a fund.

Four weeks, one focus each. Do the small version of every step and tighten it later.

  1. Week 1

    Set the foundations

Create the fund, record its size and your thesis, and invite the people who will use it.

Done when every teammate can sign in and sees the same fund.

  2. Week 2

Put the pipeline on the record

Add live deals, agree how the committee decides, and write down each decision as it is made.

Done when your next investment committee runs from the system, not from memory.

  3. Week 3

    Bring the portfolio in

Add each company with its ownership and latest valuation, then ask founders for a first update through a secure link.

Done when you can answer "what do we own, and what is it worth?" in one place.

  4. Week 4

    Report to your LPs

Set up each LP's account, then produce the first capital account statement and quarterly report from the same numbers.

Done when an LP can open their portal and find a figure that matches your report.

Start in a free Explorer workspace to try the first three weeks with your own data; teammates, founder links and the LP portal come with a plan.
